Cake Photography for Ashley Aspin Homemade Cakes, Bromley

Every now and then I photograph something other than babies, toddlers, families and mums-to-be. On this occasion it was cakes. Yum! I've been lucky enough to sample Ashley's cakes a few times over the last year and I'm always amazed at how tasty they are.

The only thing I struggled with was the delicious smell of the brownies (above) baking in the oven whilst I photographed the cakes first.

If you would like to find out more about Ashley's homemade cakes, biscuits and Christmas goodies you can reach her on 07808 887528 or visit her blog at http://www.ashleyaspin.blogspot.com/

Newborn photography, Lingfield, Surrey

A few days ago I returned to Lingfield to photograph beautiful Baby J. I really do love newborn sessions, those first few days are so magical (although exhausting.) It is a huge privilege to capture these special moments.

Mum and Dad, thank you for making this session so much fun. I look forward to seeing you all in a few months for the next session.

Family Photographs, Orpington

I do enjoy photographing these little boys. I first photographed N, the eldest when he was about six months old and seeing his twin brothers at the same age was like stepping back in time.

Joshua's newborn photoshoot, Orpington

I spent a few hours with this adorable week old baby yesterday. Each baby I photograph is so different from the last - Joshua has a beautiful head full of jet black hair that is so soft I could have stroked his head all afternoon. He was also more interested in my camera than dreaming so it took a while to get him off to sleep.

Congratulations to Mummy and Daddy (who Joshua most definitely looks like).

Maternity shoot at Kelsey Park, Beckenham

A good friend is due to have her second child this week so yesterday we took the kids to the park to photograph her bump. Many women who consider having their photograph taken during pregnancy are often put off as they believe they will have to bare all in order to have their bump photographed professionally. This isn't the case at all, there are so many different options. Involving any children you already have can produce some lovely images for them to enjoy when they're older as well as being a lot of fun to create.

This little lady is going to be a fabulous big sister to the baby she's been chatting to.

Toddler Session at Kelsey Park, Beckenham

Here are another two photographs of a very cute little chap I photographed a few weeks ago in Kelsey Park. I had a lot of fun capturing his lovely personality and meeting some of his friends.

My favourite from the day is below, this little boy didn't like sitting still for long.

Brotherly Love. Newborn Twins, Farnborough

These twin boys were too cute for words. They were also incredibly alert so not many sleepy photographs.

And a proud big brother - who is always a joy in front of the camera.

Jacob at Hever Castle

My son loves performing for the camera, as you might expect. I love capturing him when he doesn't know I'm watching.

Newborn Baby Session in Petts Wood

Today I had the pleasure of photographing beautiful baby Phoebe. Normally newborns sleep through the entire shoot, but not this little lady. Only nine days old and fascinated by everything. My favourite photograph from the shoot, posted here was taken right at the end when she decided that a little nap was in order.
